A central figure in the history of Fumane and the Valpolicella Classica region, the Allegrini family has always been committed to safeguarding the territories in which it operates, along with their culture and traditions. Thanks to significant innovations in viticulture and winemaking, whilst always keeping an eye on the history of the vine and wine, Allegrini succeeds, bottle after bottle, vintage after vintage, in making the most of its 150 hectares of vineyards, which produce unique and prestigious wines—the result of the company’s refined style and the harvest of grapes grown exclusively on the family’s land. The secret to its success lies in the Amarone, which best embodies the union of winemaking tradition and respect for the raw materials. The result of a meticulous manual harvest and the subsequent drying of typical grapes such as Corvina Veronese, Corvinone and Rondinella, this wine represents the pinnacle of Valpolicella’s winemaking excellence. This Palazzo della Torre red wine from Veneto is produced using Corvina Veronese, Corvinone and Rondinella grapes, part of the Veronese IGT designation. The wine is produced using the refermentation technique: most of the grapes are vinified immediately after harvest, whilst the remainder is left to dry. In January, the wine, blended with the pressed must from the dried grapes, begins a second fermentation. Ageing takes place in both small and large oak casks. Energy per 100ml: 330kJ/79kcal
