TASTING NOTES

Tenute Delogu wines all capture the essence of olive groves, palm trees, the sound of the sea and the scent of the Mediterranean scrub. The company owns about 60 hectares of land divided between vineyards and olive groves in the north of Sardinia, between Alghero and Sassari. Vermentino di Sardegna Die clearly represents the spirit of this marvellous native variety, which encapsulates all the characteristics of this land and sea wine. Straw yellow with greenish reflections, it expresses a Mediterranean bouquet, ranging from yellow fruits to flowers and notes of Mediterranean scrub. On the palate it is light but full-bodied, with a wonderful supporting acidity and an interesting full-flavour vein typical of Sardinian seafood wines. Try it as a pairing with local seafood dishes, shellfish and light appetisers, or perhaps on its own as an aperitif during sunset on the beach. Read more Read less
THE WINERY

Tenute Delogu

The Tenute Delogu are immersed in the green Nurra region a few kilometres from Alghero and Fertilia. The farm consists of about 25 hectares of vines cultivated on clay/limestone/sandy soil not far from the sea. From the accurate work in the vineyard and then in the wine cellar comes the excellence of the Tenute Delogu, a true concentrate of a constant and unique microclimate, of a particularly suitable soil and of a never-invasive attention by man in all processing phases. Name and address of producer/distributor: Tenute Delogu Srl Agricola SS 291 Sassari-Fertilia 07041 Alghero (SS)- Sardinia. Products from this winery should be stored in a cool, dry place away from heat sources.
