The Skerlj company is located in Sgonico, Friuli Venezia Giulia, 15 km from Trieste and only a few km from Slovenia. The soils are characterised by an alternation, in Friulian called ponca, of marl and sandstone, which, together with the conformation of the entire area a few kilometres from the sea, make the wines unique and elegant. This Malvasia from Skerlj is golden yellow in colour with orange reflections. Notes of exotic fruit, caramel and sweet spices emerge on the nose, followed by hints of honey. On the mouth, it is fresh, mineral, round and rich with notes reminiscent of tea. Perfect for an aperitif with friends and as a pairing with various cheeses.
