TASTING NOTES

Production

This wine is made from 100% Negroamaro grapes, one of the most iconic varieties from the Salento region. The grapes are carefully selected and hand-harvested from vineyards located in the heart of southern Italy. The winemaking process involves a short maceration of the skins with the must to extract color and aromas, followed by fermentation at a controlled temperature to preserve the freshness and aromatic qualities of the fruit. Organoleptic Characteristics

The color is cherry rose, vibrant with bright reflections. On the nose, it offers scents of small red fruits such as raspberry and strawberry. The most distinctive characteristic is the presence of Mediterranean aromatic herbs. The taste is fresh, pleasant in volume, and has an elegant persistence. Delightful returns of crisp red fruit.

Occasion and Pairing

The liveliness and elegance of the Negroamaro rosé allow for intriguing pairings in gourmet appetizers. The fresh taste pairs beautifully with tempting fried fish, particularly shrimp and mixed fried seafood. The wine's more exotic side ensures a captivating pairing with sushi rolls and mixed sashimi.

Serving Temperature

To fully appreciate its style, this wine should be served at a temperature of 10/12°C.

THE WINERY

Paololeo

The Paololeo winery was established in the heart of Salento, in Puglia, and from the start set itself the goal of producing high-quality wines to suit all tastes and budgets. An ambitious project that was passionately pursued, and which reaps its rewards today. The winery, in fact, is a real point of reference for winemaking in Puglia. Thanks to their commitment and passion, in fact, the founding family has been able to study the land and its most valuable characteristics to create Pugliese wines that best describe and enhance the territory. The vines stand on clay-limestone soil, alternating between sandier areas and others with emerging rock. These, combined with the mild climate typical of Salento, have made this area one of the most fertile and suitable for crops of all kinds. The microclimate of the Adriatic coast gives the grapes an exceptional quality, which can be found in the final product. Name and address of producer/distributor: Paololeo - Via Tuturano, 21, 72025 San Donaci (BR). Products from this winery should be stored in a cool, dry place away from heat sources.
