A story of passion and tradition that has always characterised the family’s work. Azienda Tre Monti has passed down the secrets of Romagna viticulture from generation to generation, with the aim of creating wines of the highest quality from Emilia-Romagna. Vitalba Romagna Albana Secca is a pioneer in winemaking using Georgian amphorae (kvevri) in Romagna. The amphorae are a splendid tool: they have proved to be an incredible accelerator and concentrator of the Albana wine’s maturation, without, however, detracting in the slightest from its varietal profile. Launched in 2013, Vitalba represents a successful gamble, made from 100% Albana grapes grown in vineyards on clayey and calcareous soil, which lends the wine minerality and savouriness. Intense straw yellow in colour, Vitalba reveals aromas of exotic fruit, dried yellow fruit and aromatic herbs.
With good freshness and savouriness, it pairs perfectly with fish dishes, white meats or medium-aged cheeses.
