TASTING NOTES

Production

Franco Adami, thanks to the family-run approach and constant research into the development of production techniques, has made Prosecco one of the most interesting appellations on the national scene. His project centres on zoning and the concept of Cru, namely the differentiation of climatic and soil characteristics that give each vineyard its own distinct nuances. The Adami family has been cultivating its Glera vines with courage and passion for three generations, adopting cultivation practices aimed at quality and balance, having abandoned synthetic products for many years now. The production consistently stands out, bottle after bottle, for its exceptional balance and character, with styles and expressions—both traditional and distinctive—that reflect the unique characteristics of each individual hill. Per 100 ml: 280 kcal, 67 g

Organoleptic Characteristics

Adami Bosco di Gica’s Valdobbiadene DOCG Brut comes from vines growing in Colbertaldo, where a small woodland once known as Bosco di Gica still stands today. It is a Prosecco with a continuous, fine perlage, expressing on the nose its characteristic aromas of pear, citron and aromatic herbs.

Occasion and Pairing

The palate, creamy and offering an excellent balance between freshness and savouriness, makes it excellent as an aperitif, but also as a sparkling wine to accompany a full meal with light and delicate dishes based on fish, shellfish and seafood.

Serving Temperature

To fully appreciate its style, this wine should be served at a temperature of 8–10°C.

Allergens: Solfiti

THE WINERY

Adami

The Adami winery is located in the hamlet of Colbertaldo, not far from Valdobbiadene. One hundred years after it was founded, this vineyard, naturally shaped like an amphitheatre, presents a fascinating view of a unique production. The founder's brilliant intuition was to separate this vineyard from all the others, to make the most of the characteristics of the soil and its position. This was how Riva Giardino Asciutto came to be, known to most as the first real Cru wine of the Valdobbiadene area. This glorious tradition continues to this day, respecting the land and its unique characteristics, to bring quality Adami Prosecco to the market. Over time the company has expanded, combining family traditions with specialisation and modern techniques, while always maintaining respect for the terroir. This fusion gave rise to a modern wine-making and sparkling wine plant, thanks to which the brand was able to conquer new markets and reassert its prestige. Today, the Adami winery produces around 750,000 bottles with grapes from around 50 hectares of vineyards, 12 of which are directly managed. The other hectares are shared by small wine-growers with historical links to the company, with a shared focus on quality grapes. Name and address of producer/distributor: Adami - Via Rovede, 27 - 31020, Colbertaldo di Vidor TR. Products from this winery should be stored in a cool, dry place away from heat sources.
