TASTING NOTES

Production

Serena Wines’ Prosecco Brut Olimpiadi Milano-Cortina 2026 is produced in Veneto from carefully selected Glera grapes, grown in areas renowned for the production of fresh and fragrant sparkling wines. Harvesting takes place when the grapes reach full aromatic ripeness, to preserve finesse and balance. Vinification takes place in stainless steel, followed by the second fermentation using the Charmat method, which enhances the varietal aromas and the wine’s natural liveliness. The style is modern, clean and immediate, designed to celebrate conviviality, elegance and sporting spirit. 100 ml: 280 kJ/67 kcal

Organoleptic Characteristics

Visually, it is a bright straw-yellow colour, with greenish highlights and a fine, continuous perlage. On the nose, it is fresh and delicate, with aromas of green apple, pear, citrus and white flowers, accompanied by light vegetal notes. On the palate, it is dry, balanced and smooth, with lively yet harmonious bubbles, good freshness and a clean, pleasantly dry finish.

Occasion and Pairing

A versatile and convivial sparkling wine, ideal for toasts and aperitifs, but also suitable for accompanying light starters, fish dishes, vegetables, shellfish and simple Mediterranean cuisine.

Serving Temperature

To fully appreciate its style, this wine should be served at a temperature of 8–10°C.

THE WINERY

Serena Wines

The hilly areas of Veneto are known for the quality of their wines, in particular the Prosecco. Here, in 1881, Pietro Serena founded the Serena Wines winery, the first distillery producing wines sold and preserved inside wooden barrels. The winery's connection to the area was immediately evident and is still a characteristic feature today. In fact, the company owns several brands and estates that are distributed in the surrounding areas. Quality grapes of various types are grown on the different hectares of property. Fine white wines such as Chardonnay and Pinot Grigio, red wines such as Merlot and Cabernet and sparkling wines such as Prosecco di Valdobbiadene DOCG and Prosecco DOC are made from them. Serena Wines' production processes have always been characterized by enormous respect for biodiversity and the local ecosystem. Furthermore, territorial sustainability projects have been implemented recently, including in collaboration with several universities, to further ensure the intrinsic quality that has always distinguished its products.
