The De Bartoli winery was founded in 1978 when the young Marco, with a degree in agronomy and a passion for racing cars, took over the family business focusing everything on high quality in Sicily. Traditional methods and native grapes for great wines, every year reaching higher peaks in the oenological landscape. From a vineyard of over 20 years, in the Samperi district in Marsala, comes the semi-dry Marsala Oro: 100% grillo harvested by hand and aged for 4 years in new French oak barrels that are constantly filled. An innovative and contemporary expression of this Marsala, in which the fruit-rich and more delicate notes of the variety are enhanced thanks to cold vinification and by avoiding excessive oxidation during its evolution. Bright amber, with delicate notes of dried fruit, almonds and toasted hazelnuts, a balsamic finish followed by a hint of caramel, on the palate, it presents continuous sensations of warmth, flavour but also freshness!! Marsala Superiore Oro Vigna la Miccia pairs well with extremely diverse dishes: tortelli with pumpkin, soft and blue cheeses, foie gras, scampi, as well as at the end of a meal with desserts. At room temperature or slightly chilled.
