The beginning of a great story. For four generations, the Malavasi estate has made agriculture its way of life, gradually carving out an increasingly important role for wine. Today, Daniele runs his family business with the pride of someone who loves what he does: a young but already established winery. The winery is based in the municipality of Pozzolengo, with vineyards also in nearby Desenzano del Garda, nestled in an enchanting landscape characterised by the gentle slopes of the Morainic hills. The Trebbiano grapes for Lugana Camilla come from the vineyard of the same name, situated in the first limestone-clay strip of Lake Garda. The wine undergoes temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel, followed by at least three months’ bottle ageing. Per 100ml = 314 kJ/75 kcal
In the glass, it presents a brilliantly bright straw-yellow colour with slight greenish hues. On the nose, intense notes prevail with fresh aromas of flowers and fragrant fruits, alongside hints of apricot jam, candied citrus peel and amaretto. On the palate, it is lively and enticing with pleasant aromatic nuances. It has good length, is enveloping and full-bodied. Pleasant and fresh aromatic notes characterise the finish.
Perfect with seafood platters, shellfish, fish and vegetable risottos, and delicate fish and white meat main courses.
