Lugana Brolettino is made from the native Turbiana grape, a grape harvested when fully ripe in mid-October. After harvesting and selecting the best grapes, winemaking takes place in steel and completed in barriques, followed by aging in barriques for 10 months followed by 3 months in bottle. When tasted, it is fully manifested in all its complexity: on the nose, it highlights hints of ripe fruit such as peaches, yellow apples, and full-bodied roses with fresh, balsamic notes. The palate is enveloped by a decisive attack while maintaining all its freshness and elegance. The full structure is accompanied by a characteristic flavour, which cleanses the palate leaving delicate and intense aromas.
Ideal for winter soups, legumes and pastas with white sauces, medium-aged cheeses and shellfish.
To fully appreciate its style, this wine should be served at a serving temperature of 10/12°C.
