TASTING NOTES

Zuplun is a distillery created from the vision of Florian Rabanser who years ago decided to acquire a farm in Siusi allo Sciliar (Seis am Schlern), a town on the slopes of the Dolomites (more than 1000 m above sea level) not far from Bolzano, to begin the production of high-quality distillates with local herbs and ingredients, with the aim of expressing his land and his personality. The harmony in combining ingredients gained in the previous profession and his sincere and determined character are the basis of his success, reflected in his products. His range includes liqueurs, brandies, grappas, gins and rums which regularly attract great interest from the public and international awards. Honeymoon honey liqueur is a high quality rum-based drink infused with top quality honey from Alto Adige. An excellent liqueur that harmoniously combines the characteristics of rum and honey in a sweet, almost elegant arrangement with a significant but delicate sweetness. A liqueur from Alto Adige to be drunk after dinner or to mix and add to cocktails to take full advantage of its versatility.

In the autonomous province of Bolzano, near the municipality of Castelrotto, stands what is now the main distillery in the Dolomites. Its owner and founder, Florian Rabanser, founded it about fifteen years ago, with the idea of starting a business that would allow him to be close to his family and to make the love he felt for genuine flavours bear fruit. Very attached to the territory and his origins, Florian only bottles and sells his spirits when he is certain and satisfied with the result, so as to ensure unique and incomparable flavours. At an altitude of 1,000 metres above sea level, Zu Plun produces and offers grappas and distillates with authentic flavours and made from natural mountain ingredients. Examples are Yellow Gin, made from juniper and Garda lemons, and Dol Gin, produced from botanicals from the Dolomites. Or the Pomegranate Grenoir and Salz Gin, with salt and oysters.
