The Pico Maccario winery is located in Piedmont, in the heart of the Roero and Langhe regions: a modern and dynamic estate that showcases native grape varieties with a fresh and contemporary style. Langhe Arneis is made from 100% Arneis grapes, grown in the winery’s own vineyards and vinified with care to preserve their terroir identity. Bright straw-yellow in colour with greenish highlights, the nose reveals a delicate, fragrant bouquet with notes of white flowers, pear, apple and subtle hints of almond and citrus. It impresses with its finesse and aromatic freshness. Pico Maccario’s Langhe Arneis is fresh and balanced on the palate, with good savouriness and an elegant structure. The finish is harmonious and slightly mineral, with pleasant fruity notes.
Versatile and pleasant, it is ideal as an aperitif and pairs perfectly with light starters, fish dishes, vegetables and fresh cheeses. Also excellent with delicate pasta dishes.
To fully appreciate its style, this wine should be served at a temperature of 8–10°C.
