TASTING NOTES

Fumin di Grosjean is made from the homonymous autochthonous vine, recently enhanced to offer strong sensations, such as the hardness of the territory and the mountain in which it is born. This is followed by a vinification with its yeasts in wooden vats with 3-4 daily fillings for 12-14 days, and an aging in large wooden barrels for 11 months. It is also suitable for a further aging in bottle for 5-6 years. The glass has an intense ruby red color, it is persistent and fine to the nose, with fruity hints of undergrowth and light but complex spicy notes. It opens wide and soft on the palate with great richness of tannins that give it elegance and freshness and is a wine suitable for long aging in the bottle. Excellent in combination with red meat, game or mature cheeses. To fully appreciate its style, this wine should be served at a serving temperature of 16/18 ºC.
