Founded in Franciacorta in 1977 at the request of entrepreneur Vittorio Moretti, Bellavista, its name is inspired by its splendid position surrounding Lake Iseo and the Po Valley, has been one of the most important wineries in Franciacorta for years, creating timeless sparkling wines with style, the offspring of simplicity and craftsmanship. The Bellavista Gran Cuvée Alma Brut represents excellence, and is the result of the essence of harmony, quality, terroir and tradition. The grapes are predominantly Chardonnay, with small percentages of Pinot Noir and Pinot Blanc, and are harvested parcel by parcel and skilfully blended; they are then fermented and matured in small oak barrels. After a long rest in the bottle on the lees, the wine is ready to be uncorked and ready to fill glasses with vivacity and elegant intensity. Straw yellow in colour and with a fine perlage, it gives us highly enveloping aromas, from fresh fruit and floral notes to nuances of pastry and vanilla cream. On the palate, full flavour and freshness make it fresh and lively, with excellent length and intriguing harmony. Perfect for toasting and accompanying a meal with fish dishes.
