Bellavista’s Franciacorta Brut Alma Assemblage 2 represents a more evolved and complex interpretation of the Alma style, the result of an even more rigorous selection of Chardonnay grapes from the finest vineyards in Franciacorta, with a touch of Pinot Noir. The grapes are harvested by hand and vinified separately by plot, partly in stainless steel and partly in small containers, to preserve finesse and identity. The second fermentation follows the Metodo Classico, with a longer ageing on the lees compared to Assemblage 1, which imparts greater depth, structure and elegance. The Brut dosage is designed to maintain balance and expressive precision.
Visually, it presents a bright straw-yellow colour, enhanced by a fine, persistent perlage. On the nose, it is broad and refined, with notes of ripe white-fleshed fruit, candied citrus and light floral nuances, followed by hints of yeast, bread crust and delicate pastry notes. On the palate, it is enveloping and harmonious, with a creamy effervescence, well-integrated freshness and a long, elegant and balanced finish.
A Franciacorta of great class and versatility, ideal for special aperitifs and to accompany the entire meal. It pairs perfectly with substantial fish dishes, shellfish, refined pasta dishes, white meats and medium-aged cheeses.
To fully appreciate its style, this wine should be served at a temperature of 8–10°C.
