TASTING NOTES

Fiano di Avellino is made from the homonymous Fiano grapes, harvested manually with selection of the bunches in boxes, followed by a first destemming, cryomacerazione and soft pressing. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature, with permanence for 3 months and further aging for 3 months in the bottle. This Fiano di Avellino is presented to the glass with a straw yellow color, the nose is intense where fruity notes of peach, litchi and citrus prevail, combined with a slight mineral trace. Balanced and elegant on the palate, it is a wine easy to drink and with a remarkable persistence. This Fiano is excellent in combination with a potato gateau, ricotta and spinach ravioli or with fish and crustaceans, such as baked bream. To fully appreciate its style, this wine should be served at a serving temperature of 12/14 ºC. Read more Read less

Today the company is managed by Roberto, winemaker and commercial manager of Di Meo Vini e Arte, a project to enhance and spread the cultural heritage of Irpinia and Campania. Name and address manufacturer/distributor: Azienda Agricola Di Meo - Contrada Coccovoni, Salza Irpina - 83050 (AV) - Italia.
