Falanghina Via del Campo expresses all the fruity and mineral character of Falanghina. A Cru made exclusively with grapes from a single vineyard of Falanghina, located in Mirabella Eclano. After a long pressing of the whole bunches, the draining must protected by oxygen is separated from the pressing must and clarified by natural sedimentation. Fermentation takes place for 70% in stainless steel vats and 30% in new oak barrels. This is followed by a further period of 8 months in refinement on fine lees, resuspended in wine. The glass has a golden yellow brightness and aromas ranging from notes of apple, pineapple, aromatic herbs and wild flowers. To the nose are perceived refined hints with brackish and mineral tones, the structure is enveloping and releases delicate menthol and toasted sensations deriving also from the short stop in oak. Of immediate pleasure when young, it evolves into an even more complex bouquet after a few years in bottle. Falanghina Via del Campo is excellent in combination with a pasta with white fish or with a fish fry. To fully appreciate the style, this Giallo d'Arles should be served at a service temperature of 10/12 ºC.
