Giuseppe Rinaldi’s Dolcetto d’Alba is produced from historic vineyards in the heart of the Langhe, where the Dolcetto grape variety finds ideal conditions to develop fruitiness, drinkability and character. The grapes are harvested by hand at the peak of ripeness to preserve their fresh aromas and vibrancy. Vinification follows traditional methods: fermentation in stainless steel tanks with moderate skin contact, designed to extract colour and aromas without overpowering the wine. Ageing takes place first in steel and then in the bottle, maintaining the winery’s authentic and sincere style, characterised by the grape variety’s natural expressiveness.
Visually, it presents a brilliant ruby red colour. On the nose, it offers immediate aromas of fresh red fruits — cherry, raspberry and plum — accompanied by light floral notes and hints of aromatic herbs. On the palate, it is fresh, pleasant and easy to drink, with soft tannins, good acidity and a dry, harmonious finish that echoes the fruity notes.
A versatile and highly enjoyable wine, ideal for accompanying informal or convivial meals. It pairs perfectly with pasta with light sauces, white meats, cured meats, pizza, Piedmontese dishes and fresh or semi-mature cheeses.
To fully appreciate its style, this wine should be served at a temperature of 14–16°C.
