TASTING NOTES

Production

With a complex and stratified character, Custoza Superiore Amedeo is the top white of the cellar. It is produced from Garganega, Fernanda, Trebbiano and Trebbianello grapes, each of which is individually worked with the intention of enhancing their qualities to the maximum. Fernanda, slightly aromatic, undergoes a process of criomaceration that brings to light the notes and the most intense scents of the vine, while the minerality of Garganega is enhanced by fermentation in slight reduction. The wine is then placed in steel tanks in contact with fine lees, with continuous batting until May. Nutritional values: E per 100 ml: 332 KJ - 79 Kcal

Organoleptic Characteristics

The straw yellow color with bright reflections, hints of exotic fruit and white flowers follow in the glass that we find in a mineral sip and slightly almond-tinged finish.

Occasion and Pairing

This Custoza Superiore is a Veneto white wine that can adapt to any situation, from aperitif to daily drinking, excellent in combination with fish dishes and vegetarian recipes.

Serving Temperature

To fully appreciate the style, this wine should be served at a service temperature of 10/12°C.

THE WINERY

Cavalchina

The Cavalchina area is located at the south-eastern end of the Garda morainic amphitheatre, and it is here that the winery of the same name is located. The history of it is very old: in fact, it dates back to the mid-19th century. Innovation and the study of new technologies blend harmoniously with the oldest traditions, handed down from generation to generation, allowing you to discover the best of Veneto wines in every glass. The biodiversity and unique properties of the soil in this area have made its potential for wine growing clear from the beginning. Attention to detail and care for the land will help you discover a quality wine, ready to be savoured. The need to bring only the best wines into the wine cellar explains the varied production, which leads the company to produce different wines every year. Fun fact: Cantina Cavalchina is responsible for the creation and designation of Custoza, the white wine of the area, making an important contribution to local history. Name and address of producer/distributor: Cavalchina - Via Sommacampagna, 7, Custoza - Sommacampagna 37066 V). Products from this winery should be stored in a cool, dry place away from heat sources.
