TASTING NOTES

Bucciarelli’s Chianti Classico is produced from 100% Sangiovese grapes that, after being harvested and vinified, make a long maceration on the skins and, completed the alcoholic and malolactic fermentation, the wine is left to age first in barrels for 20-24 months, then bottled, before being put on the market. In the glass it has a concentrated ruby red color, bright and with intense olfactory notes of dark fruit and berries, cherries, blackberries and wild berries. It is then enriched with elegant wild notes of leather and undergrowth, as well as tobacco and dark spices. The mouthfeel is soft and full, deep, with smooth tannins and a long persistence. It goes well with the meat dishes of the rural tradition. To fully appreciate its style, this wine should be served at a serving temperature of 16/18 ºC. Read more Read less
THE WINERY

Bucciarelli

In the heart of Chianti Classico, amidst the green and wild hills of Castellina in Chianti, this small company is characterised by its extreme fidelity to the territory and its grapes, where Sangiovese is king. Reaching the estate means climbing up narrow dirt roads, through woods and vineyards, where biodiversity is a fact of life and not necessarily wanted. The wines encapsulate all this, expressing a great grape and ancient tradition with frankness and sincerity. Name and address of producer/distributor: Cantina Bucciarelli, Castellina in Chianti 53011 SI. Products should be stored in a cool, dry place away from heat sources.
