TASTING NOTES

Selection of the best Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes for a single vintage, to best interpret the exclusive character in every Champagne. Dom Pérignon excludes the possibility of creating a Vintage, at a time when the vintage is not qualitatively good. The grapes of this late harvest reveal an ideal balance between acidity and roundness and a beautiful aromatic richness. After processing at least eight years, Champagne Dom Pérignon Vintage Brut reaches its perfect balance. The nose is complete and fickle, a combination of flowers and fruits, followed by vegetable and mineral notes. The bouquet is tactile, a discreet invitation to follow nuances of white flowers, surrounded by the sweetness of apricot and mirabella, and then reach rhubarb, mint and white pepper. The palate is energetic and vibrant, elegant and tonic perlage. The finish converges on sour and bitter notes, narrowing into spicy and spicy notes of ginger, tobacco and roasted aromas. Its charm makes it elegant in combination with raw fish appetizers, steamed shellfish and delicate second courses. To fully appreciate its style, this Champagne should be served at a serving temperature of 8/10 ºC. Read more Read less
THE WINERY

Dom Pérignon

Nestled in the heart of Champagne on a hill overlooking the Marne Valley, Hautvillers Abbey is the cradle of the Dom Pérignon Maison. Synonymous with elegance, luxury and prestige, the name recalls Abbot Pierre Pérignon who, according to legend, invented Champagne in the Abbey of Saint-Pierre d'Hautvillers, near Épernay, Grand Cru of the Vallée de la Marne. The Maison producing Champagne Dom Pérignon is Moët & Chandon, which succeeded in creating a prestigious Champagne by selecting the best Reserves and choosing only the best Vintage. Dom Pérignon uses mainly Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes. The art of blending is based on the ability to create harmony: the fruity soul of Chardonnay combined with the power and softness of Pinot Noir. The slow evolution gives the Dom Pérignon vintage an incredible ageing potential. Hence the greatest Champagne of all time: Dom Pérignon. Name and address of producer/distributor: 2. Dom Pérignon, Abbaye d'Hautvillers-21 Rue de l'Abbaye, 51160 Hautvillers - France. Products from this winery should be stored in a cool, dry place away from heat sources.
