TASTING NOTES

Champagne Brut Cristal is the wine of Tsar Alexander II, the most famous of the Maison’s wines born in 1876. To accentuate the uniqueness of this exceptional champagne, a flat-bottomed crystal bottle was specially created, which will bear the name of this precious material, which enhances its transparency and brightness. Made only in the best years when its composition is perfect, Champagne Cristal consists of 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay. Remarkably balanced, it is aged in the cellar for 6 years and rests 8 months after disgorging. A wine that ages wonderfully, it presents itself to the glass with a golden color with bright reflections and a fine and regular perlage. Complex aromatic bouquet with notes of yellow, juicy and ripe fruits, citrus peel and slightly toasted dried fruit. The nose reveals notes of honey, with savory nuances; fine and marked tannins reveal a vinous sensation, wide and with salty and long finish. Champagne Cristal Brut is a great wine for meditation, to be uncorked on important occasions. To fully appreciate the style, this champagne must be served at a service temperature of 8/10°C. THE WINERY

Louis Roederer

The history of Cantina Valerio Lucarelli is long and very interesting. In fact, its production has been uninterrupted for over two hundred years. It was founded in 1791 in San Ginesio, in the province of Macerata, in the Marche region, and has been involved in the production of high-quality wines ever since. Year after year, it has accumulated all kinds of secrets and knowledge about viticulture, handed down from generation to generation and guarded with passion. In the course of time, we have also opened up to some innovations, merging the oldest techniques with modern, cutting-edge ones. The Sangiovese vine variety predominates in the territory of the Vernaccia di Serrapetrona controlled and guaranteed designation of origin. Part of the cultivation is also dedicated to Cabernet Sauvignon vines. Respect for the soil and its characteristics always comes first, of course, as does great care for the vines at every stage. The end result is high-quality wines from the Marche region that tell the company’s oldest story one glass at a time. Name and address of producer/distributor: Lucarelli - Contrada San Costanzo, 43 - 62026 San Ginesio MC. Products from this winery should be stored in a cool, dry place away from heat sources.
