TASTING NOTES

The Brunello di Montalcino Cerretalto DOCG of Casanova di Neri, was born from the homonymous vineyard east of Montalcino on the Asso torrent, slightly sloping and facing east. Spearhead of the company’s production, Brunello Cerretalto comes from a maniacal selection of grapes first and then grapes and sees the light only in the best vintages. For the fermentation are used truncated oak vats, the maceration lasts about a month. It will take three years in wood and at least two in the bottle for the wine to be ready to leave the cellar. The glass has a ruby red color, thick and brilliant. The nose is powerful with nuances of dark fruit, graphite, licorice and tobacco. The palate is imposing, vigorous and robust, where the mineral imprint of graphite returns. The tannins are powerful and dense and the finish, practically, never ends. A great red wine of international caliber. At the table he wants a dish at his level, haute cuisine and great meat cooked with skill. To fully appreciate its style, this wine should be served at a serving temperature of 16/18 ºC.
