TASTING NOTES

Production

Mastrojanni’s Brunello di Montalcino is made from 100% Sangiovese grapes and is aged for 36 months in Allier oak barrels, followed by a further 6 months of bottle ageing in the winery’s cellars.

Organoleptic Characteristics

The intense, warm ruby red colour heralds a broad bouquet accompanied by notes of ripe, juicy fruit, enriched with spicy nuances, hints of undergrowth and pleasant balsamic undertones. On the palate, a dense, silky tannic structure is admirably supported by a fragrant acidity that guides the wine with great elegance to a long, persistent finish.

Occasion and Pairing

The perfect pairing with game, lamb, grilled red meats and mature cheeses.

Serving Temperature

To fully appreciate its style, this wine should be served at a temperature of 16–18°C.

Allergens: Solfiti
