TASTING NOTES

The Tre Tine of Giuseppe Rinaldi is a Barolo DOCG from vineyards of three different Nebbiolo crus and whose name derives from the fact that the legislation prohibits writing the name of all three crus in the label, although the assembly is a traditional technique of terroir. The philosophy of the Rinaldi family provides for the prohibition of using chemical treatments in the vineyard, and in the winery is preferred a natural fermentation with native yeasts and long macerations of at least 30 days without temperature control. Afterwards, Barolo Tre Tine is aged in large oak barrels for about 42 months. With a red color tending to garnet, Rinaldi’s Barolo DOCG is expressed on the nose with notes of rosehip, cherry and balsamic notes. The palate is robust, but refined and with a long aging becomes a champion. Recommended in combination with stewed red meat, game or roast meat. To fully appreciate its style, this wine should be served at a serving temperature of 16/18°C.
