Production

Barolo Falletto by Bruno Giacosa is made from 100% Nebbiolo grapes, as prescribed by the Denomination, making it a true flagship in the wine world. The exceptional quality of this wine is attributed to a meticulous selection of the best grapes and a long aging process of 30 months in French oak barrels.

Organoleptic Characteristics

Its intense garnet color conveys an austere elegance and nobility. On the nose, it reveals overwhelming notes of cherries and blackberries, spicy nuances, and hints of truffle, along with aromas of licorice and strawberry jam. The bouquet is rich and complex, with fragrances reminiscent of chocolate, truffle, and blackberries. The taste is enveloping, structured, and elegant, with a silky tannic texture.

THE WINERY

Giacosa Bruno

The company represents a unique reference point for the entire Langhe area, in Piedmont, synonymous with territoriality and tradition. Founded in the early 1900s in the commune of Neive, it was not until the early 1980s, with the purchase of the Falletto vineyard in the commune of Serralunga, that the Bruno Giacosa labels began to establish themselves on the wine market. Cultivation takes place on a daily basis, and all with the utmost care and attention to detail. Today, the extension of the vineyards reaches 50 hectares, including many acquisitions that have been made at successive times since the foundation, to offer a great variety of incomparable red wines. The mid-1990s saw the first vinification of the Asili and Rabajà crus, following which the great Barbaresco came into the company.
