Giuseppe Rinaldi's winery is one of the most prestigious producers in Langhe, a Barolo genius. The estate vineyards extend into Barolo's most renowned crus: Brunate, Cannubi, San Lorenzo and Ravera. Its wines age well for decades, are classic and deep capable of telling the story of the terroir. Rinaldi's Barolo Brunate is an austere and traditional wine, full-bodied and intense. The grapes are picked from Brunate vines, undergo spontaneous fermentation on native yeasts for around 25 days in Slavonian oak vats, aged for 36 months in large oak barrels and a further 3 months in bottles. A pensive, meditation wine, it displays a deep ruby red colour in the glass with elegant and delicate aromas of small fruits, flowers, aromatic herbs and spices. Full and persistent on the palate, with notes of flowers and raisins arriving in succession. A Barolo that can develop and age for up to 20 years, it is perfect paired with mature cheeses or with meat dishes.
