Located in the heart of the Piedmont countryside, the Vajra company enjoys a particular microclimate, in a clayey soil, which has always been dedicated to sustainable agriculture. Among the Barolo crus, Bricco delle Viole is one of the most successful. Bricco delle Viole comes from Vajra's oldest vineyards located in the highest part of the municipality of Barolo, where the Alps appear very close and where the climate is mild. The Nebbiolo grapes used to produce this reserva are harvested last, resulting in a remarkable aromatic texture and unique fineness. Notes of macerated cherries slowly meld with berries, violets and dried roses. Bright ruby red in the glass, this wine reveals its full complexity and structure on the palate, with good acidity and soft and silky tannins. Its elegance allows a perfect pairing with meat-based starters, game and mature cheeses.
