Production

The grapes are vinified together in concrete tanks and aged for 32 months in large Slavonian oak barrels.

Organoleptic Characteristics

Capable of ageing for many years, Bartolo Mascarello’s Barolo presents deep, complex aromatic notes and aromas of ripe fruit, black fruit, spices and dried flowers. On the palate, it is fresh with fine, elegant tannins.

Occasion and Pairing

This is a wine recognised as one of the great classics of the Langhe region, a wine loved by all true red wine enthusiasts. A perfect meditation wine, it is also excellent paired with mature cheeses or game.

Serving Temperature

To fully appreciate its style, this wine should be served at a temperature of 16–18°C.
