TASTING NOTES

Production

The 2016 Barbaresco Serragrilli is made from 100% Nebbiolo grapes and aged for four years, the first of which is spent in small and medium-sized barrels before moving to traditional large barrels, followed by a period of rest in the bottle before release.

Organoleptic Characteristics

It has a ruby red colour with garnet highlights. On the nose, it is intense and elegant, with notes of small red fruits, rosehip and a blend of sweet spices. It is a thoroughly enjoyable Piedmontese red wine, with enveloping tannins and a finish of excellent length.

Occasion and Pairing

The perfect wine for medium-aged cheeses or, why not, with a lovely boiled meat dish.

Serving Temperature

To fully appreciate its style, this wine should be served at a temperature of 16–18°C.

Allergens: Solfiti
