Barbaresco Montefico is made from 100% Nebbiolo grapes coming from Cru Montefico in Barbaresco. The grapes ferment in steel at controlled temperature and age for 26 months in French oak barrels and for 3 months in steel containers. Barbaresco Montefico from Carlo Giacosa winery is an elegant red wine, with a beautiful garnet red color. The bouquet is intense, very elegant and floral with notes of ripe red berries and jam. Harmonious, full, balanced and with a good structure, Barbaresco Montefico is perfect to be tasted together with meat dishes or well-aged cheeses.
