Production

Barbaresco Montefico is made from 100% Nebbiolo grapes sourced from the Montefico Cru in Barbaresco. The grapes ferment in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature and then age for 26 months in French oak barrels, followed by 3 months in stainless steel containers. The Barbaresco Montefico from the Carlo Giacosa winery is an elegant red wine, showcasing a beautiful garnet red color.

Organoleptic Characteristics

On the nose, the bouquet is intense, very elegant, and floral, with notes of ripe red berries and jam. On the palate, it is harmonious, full-bodied, balanced, and well-structured.
