Production
Barbaresco DOCG Gallina della Spinetta is made from 100% Nebbiolo grapes and aged for approximately 20 months in French oak barrels, 20% of which are new and the remainder second-fill. The ageing process is completed in the bottle for around 6 months.
Organoleptic Characteristics
It is a red wine with a very bright garnet colour, intense on the nose with hints of wild berries, blackberry and plum, followed by notes of mountain herbs. The palate is smooth and seductive, with elegant tannins and great body.
Occasion and Pairing
Ideal for special occasions, it pairs well with red meats and braised dishes.
Serving Temperature
To fully appreciate its style, this wine should be served at a temperature of 18–20°C.
