The name of Giuseppe Quintarelli is a guide in the wine scene of Valpolicella, representing the true essence of a territory that is recognized as one of the most prestigious in Italy and in the world. The farm is located in the valley of Negrar, with about twelve hectares of vineyards where the vineyards of Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella and Molinara are cultivated. The name Tre Terre refers to the origin of the grapes of the new masterpiece of the Quintarelli family. His style, with its more pronounced tannins, spiciness and spicy acidity, differs greatly from the company’s classic Amarone range. Amarone Tre Terre is made from Croatina, Nebbiolo, Rondinella, Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, Corvina Veronese, grapes from the municipalities of Negrar, Marano and Sant'Ambrogio di Valpolicella. After a manual harvest of the grapes and alcoholic fermentation, the aging takes place in Slovenian oak barrels for 8 years. Red cherries and aromatic herbs are in the foreground, and overall it has a surprising minerality and objectivity for an Amarone, making it more recognizable as an aristocratic Barolo than as a more powerful Amarone. A perfect combination that goes well with meat dishes, great to drink on important occasions. To fully appreciate its style, this wine should be served at a serving temperature of 14/16 ºC.
