TASTING NOTES

Production

Amarone Classico Venturini is made from a meticulous selection of Corvina, Corvinone, and Rondinella grapes, followed by a drying period of five months and aging for three years in oak barrels and tonneaux, with an additional six months in the bottle.

Organoleptic Characteristics

A wine with an intriguing aromatic character, it presents intense and tannic aromas on the nose, enveloped by the softness of black currant, cherry, and sour cherry.

Occasion and Pairing

The elegance of Amarone makes it an excellent match for game, grilled meats, braised dishes, and aged cheeses. It is also enjoyable on its own during moments of reflection.

Serving Temperature

To fully appreciate its style, this wine should be served at a temperature of 16-18°C.

Allergens: Solfiti

THE WINERY

Venturini

A family-run business started its activity in the early 1960s, characterised by a deep connection with tradition and the territory from the start. In the heart of the Valpolicella Classica area, between San Pietro in Cariano and San Floriano, it is spread across almost 12 hectares on hilly terrain, the most suitable for viticulture. Cultivation is carried out with full respect for nature, careful viticulture aimed at bringing the highest quality grapes possible to the winery. The expression of the territory is transformed into wine by respecting the characteristics of the typical Valpolicella grape varieties such as Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella and Molinara as much as possible. Amarone and Ripasso are the estate's flagship wines, recognisable for their elegance and fidelity to tradition. Also surprising in its simplicity is the Valpolicella Classico vintage, a very pleasant farmer's wine. Name and address of producer/distributor: Venturini - Via Semonte, 20, 37029 San Pietro In Cariano (VR). Products from this winery should be stored in a cool, dry place away from heat sources.
