The family-run company was founded at the beginning of the century with Silvio Quintarelli, in the municipality of Marano di Valpolicella. In the 50s Giuseppe, the youngest of the sons, took over the management of the company to continue the family tradition, the vineyard and the winery. Amarone Quintarelli is the wine mirage to be achieved, a triumph of balance, harmony and beauty. A true and authentic representation of Valpolicella, an excellence that is produced only if mother nature allows it. It comes from a blend of Corvina, Rondinella, Cabernet Sauvignon, Nebbiolo, Sangiovese and Croatina. Once ripe, they are selected, harvested and allowed to dry. At the end of January the grapes are pressed and fermented with indigenous yeasts for 45 days. Aging in Slavonian oak lasts about 45 days. A glass of Amarone Quintarelli is a real lust: the ruby red color, sweet notes of fruit, cherry, licorice, cocoa, plum, are realized in a dynamic sip, smoothed by an integrated, silky and ruffian tannins. A wine for great occasions, to be uncorked when you want to make center with closed eyes. Ideal if accompanied with red meat or game, strictly after a short rest in decanter. A wine that in time always surprises. To fully appreciate the style, This wine should be served at a service temperature of 16/18 ºC.
