TASTING NOTES

Production

L’Amarone Quintarelli is the ultimate winemaking dream, a celebration of balance, harmony, and beauty. It is crafted from a blend of Corvina, Rondinella, Cabernet Sauvignon, Nebbiolo, Sangiovese, and Croatina. Once fully ripe, the grapes are selected, harvested, and dried. By the end of January, they are pressed and fermented with indigenous yeasts for 45 days. The aging process in Slavonian oak lasts for approximately 45 months.

Organoleptic Characteristics

A glass of Amarone Quintarelli is a true indulgence: the ruby red color, the delicate notes of fruit, sour cherry, licorice, cocoa, and plum come together in a dynamic sip, polished by well-integrated, silky tannins that charm the palate.

Occasion and Pairing

A wine for special occasions, perfect for opening when you want to hit the mark with confidence. It pairs beautifully with red meats or game, especially after a brief rest in a decanter. A wine that continually surprises with age.

Serving Temperature

To fully appreciate its style, this wine should be served at a temperature of 16-18°C.

Allergens: Solfiti

THE WINERY

Quintarelli Giuseppe

The Quintarelli winery is located not far from the centre of Cerè in the municipality of Negrar, on the Cà Paletta mountain in the province of Verona. It is located, to be precise, on the eastern side of the Negrar valley, while its vineyards face west. Its privileged position has immediately favoured wine production that is rich in character. In addition to the production of Valpolicella, Cantina Quintarelli is also and above all known for its large production of Amarone. Its work, its constant commitment and dedication to respecting the terroir and the unique timing of the wines, combined with the study of the most innovative techniques, has led this company to distinguish itself in the production of fine red wines from Veneto that tell the best of this region in every glass. The training system of the vineyards boasts two completely different methods: while in the old plantations the training system is Pergola Veronese, the Guyot method is followed in the new ones. The end result is a unique and lively product, all to be experienced. Name and address of producer/distributor: Quintarelli Giuseppe - Via Cerè, 1, 37024 Negrar (VR). Products from this winery should be stored in a cool, dry place away from heat sources.
