The Amarone della Valpolicella Classico Tommasi is made from Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella, and Oseleta grapes, aging for 30 months in large Slavonian oak barrels, in accordance with the ancient tradition of producing wines from dried grapes, ensuring that the wine does not take on excessive wood aromas.
In the glass, it displays a very intense, almost dark ruby red color. On the nose, it pleasantly captivates with mature fruit and candied cherries, supported by balsamic hints and slightly toasted notes. On the palate, it is a warm and complex wine. A rich, substantial, and deep sip is followed by a pleasing persistence that finishes the taste, making this wine one of the most interesting references of its denomination.
Elegance and structure make Tommasi's Amarone della Valpolicella perfect for pairing with game, red meats, and aged cheeses. It is the ideal companion for long conversations.
To fully appreciate its style, this wine should be served at a temperature of 16–18°C.
