TASTING NOTES

Production

Made from Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella grapes, which are dried in crates in the fruit cellar. Red vinification ensures contact with the skins throughout the entire fermentation process, and colour extraction is enhanced by two daily pump-overs and a delestage halfway through fermentation. Aged in small and large oak barrels for two years.

Organoleptic Characteristics

The Amarone della Valpolicella Classico Case Vecie is an intense ruby red, very ripe on the nose, almost toasty with aromas of dried cranberries, cherries and macerated figs. On the palate, it offers a fresher, more supple note, with aromas of cinnamon, pepper and tobacco. The finish is persistent, with a youthful, full-bodied tannic structure that is, at the same time, smooth.

Occasion and Pairing

Perfect for a Sunday family lunch, perhaps with a meat main course.

Serving Temperature
