This Terlaner is made from 72% Pinot Bianco, 28% Chardonnay, and 2% Sauvignon Blanc, which undergo gentle whole-cluster pressing, clarification of the must, and natural cold sedimentation. It then undergoes a slow fermentation in large oak barrels, malolactic fermentation, and aging for 12 months on the lees in traditional wooden barrels.
Grande Cuvée presents itself in the glass with a brilliant straw-yellow color. Rich and complex, it expresses aromas of citrus, white pepper, aromatic herbs, and a delicate smoky note. Its elegance and excellent balance rest on a fine yet substantial structure and a refined texture, giving it a unique character. Its exceptional persistence not only conveys simple pleasure but also represents the purest expression of a truly unique mineral terroir.
It pairs wonderfully with a slice of palamita cooked in oil, or for a land-based pairing, with rabbit stew with olives.
To fully appreciate its style, this wine should be served at a temperature of 12-14°C.
