THE WINERY

Stachlburg

Stéphane Regnault is one of the most refined and luminous creations of the new generation of Champenois vignerons, a symbol of precision, elegance and absolute respect for the terroir. Headquartered in Mesnil-sur-Oger, in the heart of the Cote des Blancs, the house was born from the desire to interpret Chardonnay in its purest and most vibrant form, through Champagnes capable of transparently expressing the identity of the region's large chalky soils. Stéphane Regnault's philosophy is based on an essential and rigorous approach, oriented towards enhancing the vineyard and the natural balance of the ecosystem. Vineyards are grown according to sustainable and environmentally friendly practices, with minimal intervention and great attention to soil vitality and grape quality. The plots, located mainly in the Grand Crus of the Cote des Blancs, rest on deep gypsum soils that give the wines extraordinary mineral tension, verticality and elegance. The Chardonnay is the absolute protagonist of the production, interpreted in a pure, saline and contemporary style, capable of combining energy, precision and aromatic finesse. In the winery, the work follows the same philosophy of transparency and delicacy: spontaneous fermentations, precise vinifications and long refinements allow the wines to develop complexity and depth without losing freshness and territorial identity. Dosages are very low or absent, a choice that allows you to preserve the expressive purity and sharpness of the terroir. Stéphane Regnault Champagnes are distinguished by a tense, elegant and luminous style, characterised by great aromatic precision, silky texture and a marked mineral imprint. Each cuvée tells with sincerity and sensitivity the purest and most contemporary face of the Cote des Blancs. Each bottle of Stéphane Regnault is a refined and vibrant sensory experience, an authentic expression of chalk, light, and time, capable of combining depth and lightness in perfect balance. Name and manufacturer address: Stéphane Regnault – Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, Cote des Blancs, Champagne, France. Wines should be stored in a cool, dry place, away from sources of heat and direct light.
