TASTING NOTES

Production

The Pinot Bianco Rarity by Terlano is a high-quality white wine made from 100% Pinot Bianco grapes from the best vintages, sourced from selected vineyards in Alto Adige. The winemaking process includes hand harvesting, gentle pressing, natural sedimentation, and slow fermentation in steel tanks. After malolactic fermentation, the wine ages for 12 months on the lees in wooden barrels and is further aged for at least ten years in pressure-controlled steel tanks, an exclusive technique that gives the wine extraordinary complexity. Organoleptic Characteristics

The Pinot Bianco Rarity presents a brilliant straw-yellow color. On the nose, it offers a complex bouquet of white fruit, citrus, wildflowers, aromatic herbs, and mineral and smoky notes. On the palate, it is elegant, fresh, and well-balanced, with a silky texture and an extraordinary persistence that expresses the minerality of the Terlano terroir.

Occasion and Pairing

It pairs perfectly with refined dishes such as shellfish, elaborately prepared fish, delicate white meats, and pasta dishes with vegetables or mushrooms. It is ideal for important dinners, moments of contemplation, or vertical tastings of great white wines.

Serving Temperature

To fully appreciate its style, this wine should be served at a temperature of 12/14°C.

THE WINERY

Terlano

Cantina di Terlano was founded towards the end of the 19th century and has since distinguished itself as one of the most progressive winegrowers' cooperatives in the whole of Alto Adige. The commitment and hard work of its members has been pursued with passion, always keeping faith with their traditions, to ensure the production of wines from Alto Adige that best represent the characteristics of the region. Today, the members of the winery cultivate around 165 hectares of vineyards, with an annual production of more than one million bottles per year. Such a large production can count on the valuable support of a dense network of knowledge and know-how handed down from generation to generation, and the constant study of the most modern techniques. Only DOC wines are matured in the current company, divided between 30% of red wines and 70% of white wines, presented to the public in three different lines: the Selections, the Vineyards and the Classics. Name and address of producer/distributor: Terlano - via Silberleiten, 7, 39018 Terlano (BZ). Products from this winery should be stored in a cool, dry place away from heat sources.
