The Nova Domus Riserva from Cantina Terlano is a white cuvée of extraordinary power and finesse, masterfully blending Pinot Bianco, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. This wine is sourced from selected vineyards situated between 450 and 600 metres above sea level, where the exposure and alpine microclimate allow for slow and perfect ripening. Production follows a philosophy of excellence: fermentation and ageing take place for 12 months in large wooden barrels, followed by careful bottle ageing that seals the union between the creaminess of the grapes and the mineral freshness of the terroir. Energy value (E): 344kJ - 82kcal/100ml
Visually, it stands out for its deep straw-yellow colour with distinct greenish hues. On the nose, it is an explosion of multifaceted aromas: fruity notes of apricot and white peach intertwine with tropical hints of mango, enriched by spicy nuances of vanilla and a trace of sage typical of Sauvignon. On the palate, Nova Domus reveals an imposing yet incredibly balanced structure; the attack is soft and enveloping, immediately refreshed by a savoury vein and vibrant acidity that guarantees a decade-long ageing potential.
At the table, its complexity demands pairings of equal depth. It is the perfect companion for grilled shellfish, truffle-based pasta dishes or flavourful white meats such as roast game fowl. It is also splendid when paired with blue-veined or mature cheeses, where its aromatic persistence creates an unforgettable union.
To fully appreciate its style, this wine should be served at a serving temperature of 10/12°C.
