TASTING NOTES

Production

The grapes are destemmed and the must ferments for approx. 10 days at a temperature of 28°C. During fermentation, it remains in constant contact with the skins. Towards the end of fermentation, we allow the temperature to rise to achieve better extraction of colours and flavours.

Organoleptic Characteristics

With a bright, deep ruby colour, it is extremely typical and easily recognisable. Spicy aromas of small wild berries and violets; clean, appealing and fresh. On the palate, it is very harmonious, with good tannic structure; it unfolds warmly, with a long, persistent finish, a velvety, rounded body, a slightly spicy finish and very balanced acidity.

Occasion and Pairing

Game, red meats, poultry and mature cheese.

Serving Temperature

To fully appreciate its style, this wine should be served at a temperature of 15–17°C.

The I Campi winery, a signature reference point in the production of excellent Veneto wines, is a renowned reality established thanks to the commitment of Flavio Prà, heir to a historic family of winemakers.
