Production

To bring out all the wine’s characteristics, the grapes are pressed and, after a few hours in contact with the skins, left to settle and finally ferment in temperature-controlled steel vats.

Organoleptic Characteristics

In the glass, this white wine is an excellent expression of its grape variety, with a bright straw-yellow colour. The nose is complex, with the typical aromatic backbone built on lively hints of spices and dried flowers. This is confirmed on the palate, where the wine reveals its solid body, well-balanced between the aromatic character of the grapes and a freshness that makes it very drinkable.

Occasion and Pairing

The ideal pairing is with fish and shellfish, but it can also accompany dishes enriched with the spices found on the nose, and thus a good portion of Oriental and Middle Eastern cuisine. A bottle of Joseph makes an excellent choice for a pleasant aperitif with friends, if you wish to move away from the usual sparkling wines.

The I Campi winery, a signature reference point in the production of excellent Veneto wines, is a renowned reality established thanks to the commitment of Flavio Prà, heir to a historic family of winemakers. In the heart of the Valpolicella Orientale, the vineyards of I Campi are rooted in a deep soil with a varied composition that allows the growth of different grape varieties, spread over about 14 hectares. Since 2006, Flavio's method of wine production has put the very essence of the vines, the expression of the unique territory that hosts them, first. Combining modernity and tradition, each grape is treated with respect in the I Campi winery, diversifying the vinification phases to preserve quality.
