Production

Letrari, a historic Trentino winery, traces its family roots back to 1647 in Borghetto d’Avio, on the banks of the Adige. This area boasts the distinctive terroir and microclimate of the Vallagarina, an environment shaped by the Adige and influenced by the Ora del Garda, which creates a unique Mediterranean-style microclimate here. The Letrari estate, covering 23 hectares, cultivates Chardonnay and Pinot Noir to produce Trentino Metodo Classico sparkling wines. Letrari’s Dosaggio Zero Riserva Trento DOC is a vintage wine made from a blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, harvested exclusively by hand, with a minimum of 36 months’ ageing on the lees to enhance its structure and elegance.

Organoleptic Characteristics

The wine has a brilliant straw-yellow colour. On the nose, it offers a broad bouquet of aromas ranging from bread crust to ripe apple and dried fruit. The palate is soft and sensual, with fine, persistent bubbles that never tire.

Occasion and Pairing

An excellent choice for a romantic dinner, it pairs well with fish and shellfish.

Serving Temperature

To fully appreciate its style, this wine should be served at a temperature of 8–10°C.

The winery was founded in 1910, by great-grandfather Oreste in Correggio, in the heart of Emilia. More than 100 years of history that have seen every change in the world of wine, especially Lambrusco, which is experiencing a renaissance in recent years. The winery wanted to make it a wine of excellence, skilfully elaborating it through the Metodo Classico, which has always been a passion of the family, alongside more traditional sparkling wines that are just as surprising when produced in the Emilian context, such as Pinot Noir.
