The Ferrari winery is a keystone of the Italian sparkling wine scene, a flagship of Trento DOC zone sparkling wines which has always stood out thanks to the quality and elegance of its Metodo Classico wines, which are esteemed and renowned throughout the world. Ferrari Perlè Zero is the pas dosé of the Ferrari brand, a mosaic of vintages (2006, 2008, 2009, and 2010) which expresses the essence of mountain Chardonnay, bottled in 2012. Processed partly in stainless steel in order to retain the fragrant part of the fruit and the aromatic elegance of the grapes and partly in wood to add structure and complexity of flavour, this sparkling wine finally rests in glass, giving it a distinct expressiveness. In the glass, it is golden and shiny with a fine and persistent perlage. On the nose, it is clean with distinct notes of grapefruit, ginger, fresh pineapple, aromatic herbs, and cumin. In the mouth it is dry, full-flavoured, and fresh. It envelops the drinker with an elegant and persistent length. It is perfect for accompanying a romantic meal of rich fish-based dishes such as gamberoni al lardo di Colonnata.
