TASTING NOTES

A history of passion and tradition has always set this family business apart. Azienda Tre Monti has handed down the secrets of Romagna’s viticulture from generation to generation, with the aim of creating Emilia-Romagna wines of the highest quality. Vitalba Romagna Albana Secca is an innovation of vinification in Georgian urns or kvevri in Romagna. These urns are splendid tools: they have shown themselves to be an incredible accelerator and concentrator of the maturation of Albana wine without sacrificing a single drop of the profile of the variety. First produced in 2013, Vitalba is the result of a well-executed gamble. It is produced exclusively from Albana grapes from vineyards cultivated on clay-rich and limestone soil, giving the wine a certain mineral taste and a full flavour. An intense straw yellow in colour, Vitalba boasts aromas of exotic fruit, dry yellow fruit, and aromatic herbs. A long history of passion, dedication and tradition has always characterised the work of the family, which has handed down the secrets of wine-growing in Romagna for generations in the hope of keeping faith with its objective: the creation of Emilia-Romagna wines of the highest quality, capable of representing the most authentic character of the history and territory. An ambitious goal, clear since the foundation, which the family has achieved thanks not only to their talent and love for the land, but also to the study of the most modern techniques. In fact, the company's work is based above all on the skilful combination of ancient and modern techniques that can best enhance the unique characteristics of the land and the indigenous grapes.
