TASTING NOTES

Production

It is made exclusively from Glera grapes from vineyards on the hills of Valdobbiadene, which gives the clusters great aromatic richness. The grapes are harvested exclusively by hand in order to vinify only the best bunches, after which they are gently pressed and the must fermented in temperature-controlled steel tanks. Then, as with all Martinotti or Charmat methods, it is re-fermented in steel autoclaves where it remains for 30 to 90 days on its lees. Nutritional values: 100ML E=290KJ/68KCAL

Organoleptic Characteristics

The color is a straw yellow with slight greenish highlights, made even brighter by a fine and persistent perlage. It expresses elegant and fruity notes of candied citrus, white flowers, balsamic herbs and fresh almonds on the nose. On the palate, it is soft with a pleasant savoriness.

Occasion and Pairing

Ideal as an aperitif wine, this Prosecco pairs perfectly with cured meats and finger foods.

Serving Temperature

To fully appreciate its style, this wine should be served at a serving temperature of 8/10°C.

Allergens: Solfiti

THE WINERY

Bortolomiol

With origins dating back to the second half of the 1700s in the hills of Valdobbiadene, the Bortolomiol winery has always invested in the quality and future of Prosecco in its designation, values proudly upheld by the four daughters of Giuliano Bortolomiol, founder of the current sparkling wine company. When Bartolomeo Bortolomiol, the forefather of the prestigious winemaking family, began cultivating the first rows of vines, he probably never imagined that his name would echo through the centuries as a synonym for Italian tradition and excellence. The unmistakable notes of Bortolomiol's Prosecco Superiore are the result of constant research and attention to detail, pursued by a team with the utmost expertise in winemaking, that follows the entire production process from the vine to the bottle. Such solid roots are combined with innovative projects that guarantee that this Veneto winery will be a success, from generation to generation. Thanks to Bortolomiol's organic production, the earth is preserved and protected, ensuring a low environmental impact. Name and address of producer/distributor: Bortolomiol - Via Garibaldi 142 31049 Valdobbiadene TV. Products from this winery should be stored in a cool, dry place away from heat sources.
