Langhe Bianco is a pure Sauvignon Blanc from La Spinetta, produced from vineyards located in the municipalities of Mango and Treiso, on marly-limestone soils rich in calcium carbonate. Fermentation takes place in second-pass French oak barrels, where the wine ages for about 18 months, followed by a further rest in the bottle. A process that gives structure, complexity and a marked minerality. 100 ml E=285kJ/68kcal
On the nose, elegant notes of grapefruit, lemon, white flowers and passion fruit can be perceived, accompanied by herbaceous and flinty notes. On the palate it is fresh and consistent, with a pleasant flavour, lively acidity and a long, mineral finish.
Perfect as an aperitif, it pairs with vegetable appetizers, delicate first courses, fish and shellfish. Also excellent with asparagus, eggs and fresh cheeses.
To best appreciate its freshness, structure and minerality, Langhe Bianco should be served at a serving temperature of 10/13°C.
