TASTING NOTES

The Greco di Tufo di Di Meo is produced from the homonymous Greco grapes, cultivated in a clay and limestone soil that gives the wine mineral qualities. The grapes are harvested manually through the selection in boxes in the vineyard, followed by a destemming, a cryomaceration and a soft pressing. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature, with a stay of 3 months and a further refinement of 3 months in the bottle. This Greco di Tufo from Campania is presented to the glass with a deep straw yellow color, consistent and to the nose reveals delicate aromas of orange blossom, cedar and lime, with more intense notes of exotic fruit and powdered sugar. On the palate returns the sweet fruit and white pulp, combined with freshness and structure. This wine is ideal in combination with vegetables in tempura, scallops with butter or with fresh cheeses, such as mozzarella in a carriage. To fully appreciate its style, this wine should be served at a serving temperature of 12/14 ºC. Read more Read less
THE WINERY

Di Meo

Today the company is managed by Roberto, winemaker and commercial manager of Di Meo Vini e Arte, a project to enhance and spread the cultural heritage of Irpinia and Campania. Name and address manufacturer/distributor: Azienda Agricola Di Meo - Contrada Coccovoni, Salza Irpina - 83050 (AV) - Italia.
