TASTING NOTES

Founded in Franciacorta in 1977 at the request of entrepreneur Vittorio Moretti, Bellavista, its name is inspired by its splendid position surrounding Lake Iseo and the Po Valley, has been one of the most important wineries in Franciacorta for years, creating timeless sparkling wines with style, the offspring of simplicity and craftsmanship. The Bellavista Gran Cuvée Alma Brut represents excellence, and is the result of the essence of harmony, quality, terroir and tradition. The grapes are predominantly Chardonnay, with small percentages of Pinot Noir and Pinot Blanc, and are harvested parcel by parcel and skilfully blended; they are then fermented and matured in small oak barrels. After a long rest in the bottle on the lees, the wine is ready to be uncorked and ready to fill glasses with vivacity and elegant intensity. Straw yellow in colour and with a fine perlage, it gives us highly enveloping aromas, from fresh fruit and floral notes to nuances of pastry and vanilla cream. On the palate, full flavour and freshness make it fresh and lively, with excellent length and intriguing harmony. Perfect for toasting and accompanying a meal with fish dishes.

Born in 1977 from the vision of Vittorio Moretti, Bellavista is today one of the emblematic cellars of Franciacorta. Located on the hill of the same name between Lake Iseo, the Po Valley and the Alps, it stands out for the production of elegant and refined sparkling wines. Its 180 hectares of vineyards give life to iconic bubbles, such as Bellavista Alma, Satèn and the Reserves, maximum expressions of the Italian Classic Method. The processing follows artisanal techniques: the pressing takes place with ancient Champenoise presses to obtain a sweet squeeze, while the fermentation takes place both in steel and oak barrels. Every oenological choice aims to preserve the territorial identity and the fineness of the aromas.
